Kingdom Keepers; Disney After Dark: Ridley Pearson
Walt Disney World really is the place where dreams come true, as we see in Ridley Pearson's Kingdom Keepers series. This series tells the story of five friends, Finn, Willow, Philby, Maybeck and Charlene, who are chosen to be DHIs, Disney Host Interactive/Daylight Hologram Imaging, a holographic tour guide in the Magic Kingdom. When the kids go to sleep, they wake up in the parks as their holographic selves and can interact with the Disney characters who come to life at night. When a secret plot to overthrow everything by the villains, the Keepers must stop them before they take over. The thing I love about this series is that it takes an in depth look at the parks and how they function backstage that we, as guests, don't get to see. We also get to see what the Disney characters are like outside of the movies they are from and that they help the Keepers defeat the villains. Something to keep in mind when reading this though is that the story starts in 2005, so many attractions are either revamped/renamed or straight up closed, such as One Man's Dream in MGM Studios which is now called Hollywood Studios. All in all, this series in made for everyone who loves Disney.
Pros:
Disney
Immersive storytelling
Cons:
Dates itself (rides/attractions closing)
Switches between different character arcs at confusing times
